9-Hole League, Triple Play

Golf Courses:
Darlington Golf Course, 5/3/2021 - 6/7/2021 (No Play Memorial Day, 5/31)
277 Campgaw Rd, Mahwah, NJ 07430 | Phone: 201. 327.8770

This 18-hole course sits in the rolling foothills of the Ramapo mountain range. Cut through a thick forest of hardwoods, the course presents a beautiful setting at any time of year. While accurate driving is needed to negotiate many of the holes, the tight driving zones open to expansive greens.

Players are challenged by the tree-lined fairways, water features, and distinct changes in elevation. From the back tees the par 72 at 6,809 and the red tees at 5,278, the course provides a test for even the most skilled golfer.

Valley Brook Golf Course,  6/14/2021 - 7/19/2021 (No Play 07/05, Independence Day Observed)
6225, 15 Rivervale Rd, River Vale, NJ 07675 | Phone: 201.664.5890

When it was acquired in 2006 Valley Brook added a shot maker’s course to the County golf operation. Playing only 6,211 yards from the back tees it is not a course to overpower. Short winding holes and small greens test the players’ ability to place the ball in just the right spot. This course might seem short with a Par 70 and 6,211 from the longest tees, and 4,790 from the red tees, but the challenge lies in ball placement and shot planning.

Soldier Hill Golf Course, 7/26/2021 - 8/23/2021
99 Palisade Ave, Emerson, NJ 07630 | Phone: 201.336.6031

Soldier Hill Golf Course in Emerson offers superior playing conditions with many picturesque holes that demand accurate shot-making from tee to green while others offer ample landing areas and gentle sloping greens. The back nine winds through open terrain with strategic water hazards while the front nine is characterized by mature tree lined fairways. The layout of open and wooded holes on this traditional style 18-hole par 71 golf course provides challenges to golfers of all skill levels, playing 5,526 yards from the red tees.

League Level: General
This is where the majority of our golfers feel most comfortable. Two-thirds of our leagues accommodate the General Golfer. If you have been playing golf for a number of years, can follow the rules of etiquette and the game and keep your score when you play, you belong in this very popular group. The General Golfer understands the importance of Pace of Play and moves through the course at a pace of 2:15 for 9 holes or 4:30 for 18 holes. The General Golfer usually scores between 105-135 in an 18 hole round and may or may not maintain a handicap.

League Type: Social Golfer
Players may or may not keep a score. This group is purely interested in playing a round of golf with friends and may not want to be paired up with others. Members of this league are comfortable on the course and maintain pace of play while socializing on the course.

Last day of league play may change due to weather related course closures.  Be sure to check with your captain.
