WGANJ Advanced Beginner Program

Improve your golf in 15 Weeks

This is an 15-week program that offers members up to 1 1/2 hours of instruction depending on size of league.  Instruction will alternate with course play.  There will be 7 weeks of instruction along with 8 weeks of course play on their Single 9 course.  

Golf Course: Galloping Hill

The Learning Center has the best public access practice facility in the area combined with an experienced staff of PGA professionals, making The Learning Center at Galloping Hill the best place in the area to learn all facets of the game of golf.  The 9 hole course located at the Learning Center with 2348 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 33, is a great place to play.

Level: Advanced Beginner

The Advanced Beginner Golfer may have completed the BEGINNER PROGRAM, had a few lessons or played a little Pitch and Putt. If you know the basics of the swing and the game but are still not quite comfortable on the course, this is probably the program that will work for you.  These leagues offer instruction during a 14 or 15 week season to give you time to work on your skills while becoming more comfortable navigating the course.  As an Advanced Beginner, you probably aren't keeping score.  On the course, you may elect to play a scramble format with your group in order to attempt to maintain a standard Pace of Play  of 2:15 for 9 holes or 4:30 for 18 holes.

Refund Policy:

Before completing your registration, please note that deposits/registration fees are non-refundable. WGANJ does not issue refunds for event or registration fees except in circumstances where an event is cancelled and cannot be rescheduled.
