About Us

The Women's Golf Association of New Jersey (WGANJ) is dedicated to providing the best golfing opportunities in New Jersey to women at all levels of play. WGANJ is committed to continually enhancing member golfing opportunities and benefits through value-added corporate, association, community, and other affiliated relationships to promote women's golf in New Jersey.

In 2003, WGANJ was born through the vision and hard work of our 26 Founding Members and 45 Hall of Fame Members. Each of these members donated funds to help get the organization started. It was built on a passion for creating a welcoming community for women golfers. Over the years, that dedication remains the driving force behind everything we do.

Today, WGANJ’s commitment is to fostering a premier community, where women can learn, play, and connect. Programs focused on golf education and game improvement, weekly league play, outings, trips, and social events give members the opportunity to strengthen their game and grow their relationships with fellow golfers.

Our membership benefits were developed with these goals in mind. With modest membership dues, educational programs with LPGA and PGA professionals, more than 50 leagues for golfers of all skill levels, and free club loaners for new golfers trying the game, WGANJ is dedicated to making golf accessible, enjoyable, and welcoming for all women.

We would not be the organization we are today without our members. Whether through active participation in our leagues and events, volunteering to help support and guide our activities, or simply by being a part of the community, our members help WGANJ grow and thrive.
