  May 15-17, 2026 WGANJ Spring Education Weekend! New Venue! New Instructors! The beautiful Seaview Golf Resort in Galloway, NJ, just minutes from Atlantic City, is the new location for the annual spring weekend on May 15-17, 2026. We are so excited to be able to play the same course that is home to the ShopRite LPGA Classic. You will have the opportunity to improve your game with instructors from the world-famous Bird Golf Academy. (Note that this program is not intended for the Beginner golfer.)

  What's included? Two nights single or double occupancy accommodations. 3-4 hours of instruction, including 9 holes on the course play with the instructors each day. Unlimited golf after instruction each day. Discussion of etiquette and course management. Lunch in the hotel restaurant both days. (Breakfast and dinner are on your own.) Cost for Single Occupancy is $1400, including all taxes and fees. A $500 deposit is required by November 1, 2025, with the balance due April 1, 2026. (Deposit is non-refundable.)   This year we are offering a 9-hole or 18-hole option, it's your choice.

  You and your playing partner will be assigned to the Green Team or the White Team. Earn points for your team during the putting, chipping and driving contests and the 9 holes of golf in match play scramble format.  Find out who won at the Hill Tavern and celebrate.

  Match play scramble format:

  Each player in the 2-person team will hit their own drive, the players choose the best of the two shots.  Each golfer will then hit a ball from the chosen place and proceed likewise until the lowest score for the hole is achieved.  The process will then begin anew on the next hole until the end of the round. There is 1 point available per hole.  If your team wins the hole, you receive 1 point.  If both teams draw the hole, each team receives 1/2 point.  In match play, your opponent may concede the hole or give you a putt.

  The WGANJ Board of Directors meets monthly to plan and discuss the activities and operations of the organization. Feel free to join us and see how the organizational process works.  Be a part of WGANJ and help shape our future.  Advanced registration is suggested in order to provide a light dinner and record attendance. Location of the monthly meetings of the Board of Directors may vary.  Currently the present location will be at 17-01 Pollitt Drive, Fair Lawn, NJ.    Members may attend virtually by registering for each board meeting.  You will receive the Zoom info in an email a day before the meeting. Dinner will be provided at 6:00 PM.  Meeting business begins promptly at 6:30 PM. Members are always welcome to join the meeting and become involved in the workings of the organization. As an "all-volunteer" organization, we depend on you, the member, to get involved and keep the organization running and moving forward. We are dedicated to offering members the best golfing opportunities for women in New Jersey.

  The Intermediate Golfer is fearless! She is confident about playing on different courses with different people. She not only keeps her score, but also posts it in the GHIN system and works to improve her handicap. She counts all strokes, counts penalties, knows the importance of keeping Pace of Play and finishes rounds in 2:15 hours for 9 holes or 4:30 hours for 18 holes. The Intermediate Golfer maintains a handicap index of 35 or better and usually scores 95-115 in an 18 hole round.

  ⛳ Saturday, October 3 – Shotgun Start at 9:00 am

  Brigantine Golf Links, Brigantine, NJ, Just over the bridge from AC, the barrier island of Brigantine boasts NJ's best Scottish Links golf course, The Brigantine Golf Links - a true taste of Scotland at the Jersey Shore!!

  

  The course is less than 20 minutes from the hotel. There is a short game practice area and putting green, but no driving range. The new clubhouse may be under construction, but a snack bar will be available.

  

  ⛳ Sunday, October 4 – Shotgun Start at 9:00 am (40 player min.)

  Seaview Golf Club, Galloway, NJ, Home of the LPGA ShopRite Classic, Seaview has two amazing courses with picturesque views. 

  

  The course is about 25 minutes from the hotel. Take advantage of the complementary range balls to warm up at the driving range or short game practice facilities.  Beverage and snack cart will be available for purchases during your round.
  

  WGANJ will play the BAY Course which features large bunkers and expansive, sloping greens. The 16th hole was the site of Sam Snead's miraculous 60-foot chip-in to win his first major, The PGA Championship.

  Shotgun start is dependent on a 40-player commitment. Help us spread the word and fill the field so we can all start and finish at the same time.
