Spring is here and we're anxious to see our WGANJ friends once again. Join us on SATURDAY, May 3rd, 2025, for a fabulous brunch and shopping at the WGANJ Store. If you're ready to hit the course, play 9-holes with your friends old and new.
Begin the day by shopping at the WGANJ store to start your season off right with the newest WGANJ fashions. Next, enjoy an awesome brunch at THE HILL TAVERN at Galloping Hill followed by a quick 9 -holes of golf at the Galloping Hills 9-hole course.
There will be a great selection of door prizes and of course don't forget your cash for the event closer of the infamous WGANJ 50/50.
We'll have Board members available for questions. If there something you'd like to know more about, just ask.

LIMIT (10) Tee Times will be available starting at 12:00pm. Registration is first come, first served, so tell your friends to sign up quickly or you may miss out.
Your WGANJ membership dollars at work, this event is being subsidized over $20 to members. All payments must be received within one week after registration, or your registration will be canceled.

The Intermediate Golfer is fearless! She is confident about playing on different courses with different people. She not only keeps her score, but also posts it in the GHIN system and works to improve her handicap. She counts all strokes, counts penalties, knows the importance of keeping Pace of Play and finishes rounds in 2:15 hours for 9 holes or 4:30 hours for 18 holes. The Intermediate Golfer maintains a handicap index of 35 or better and usually scores 95-115 in an 18 hole round.

This is course is part of the Intermediate Weekend Travel League. Play as many offerings as you'd like. Openings are limited so be sure to register early.

The league encourages growth in your game and welcomes general golfers to step up and see if you are ready for the next level of play. Some courses may be too difficult for a general golfer; players are encouraged to check out course ratings and descriptions before registering to play any particular course.

Join us at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort in the picturesque Poconos for a weekend of instruction and on-the-course fun. Designed to accommodate Advanced Beginner, General, and Intermediate golfers, you will receive golf instruction based on your golfing ability.
The price includes accommodations for two nights, 6 hours of instruction with a combination of Full Swing and Short Game training followed by two afternoons of course play with your group on the 18 hole golf course.
This package also includes; all range, greens and cart fees. Six meals included in the package - dinner on Friday night, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday.

You and your playing partner will be assigned to the Green Team or the White Team. Earn points for your team during the putting, chipping and driving contests and the 9 holes of golf in match play scramble format. Find out which team won at Hef's and celebrate.

Match play scramble format:
Each player in the 2-person team will hit their own drive, the players choose the best of the two shots. Each golfer will then hit a ball from the chosen place and proceed likewise until the lowest score for the hole is achieved. The process will then begin anew on the next hole until the end of the round. There is 1 point available per hole. If your team wins the hole, you receive 1 point. If both teams draw the hole, each team receives 1/2 point. In match play, your opponent may concede the hole or give you a putt.
